Fiduciary Representation (Director & Officer Counseling)

Fiduciary representation encompasses a broad range of claims that arise in connection with the administration of trusts and estates and in connection with money management (if one party explicitly assumes a fiduciary duty or if one is imposed as a matter of law). Culhane Meadows’ attorneys have experience in asserting and defending fiduciary claims. In litigation, our firm takes a collaborative approach and frequently draws on the substantive knowledge of our corporate and business, ethics compliance and risk management lawyers for support. Our collective experience from all perspectives has given us a broad depth of understanding of all sides of the issues that is invaluable in analyzing fiduciary disputes.

We also take a team approach in an effort to avoid litigation if at all possible. When litigation occurs, however, we efficiently and effectively handle claims by focusing on achieving the best possible resolution as quickly as possible. We recognize the emotion that often is involved in disputes regarding fiduciaries (particularly with estates or trusts involving several family members). Our extensive experience allows us to provide objective advice so that our clients can achieve their goals as quickly as possible.
