Jim Maxson named Deputy Chair of European Life Settlement Association (ELSA)

ELSA logoMaxsonPartner Jim Maxson has been elected as Deputy Chair of the European Life Settlement Association (ELSA).  ELSA was founded in 2009 to set standards for the European life settlement industry, and represents European funding sources, service providers and intermediaries in the life settlement market who are looking to promote transparency by providing accurate, authoritative information to investors, regulators and the media.  Mr. Maxson was previously an Ordinary Member of ELSA’s executive board, and is looking forward to continuing to help ELSA’s mission forward in his new role as Deputy Chair.  Additionally, Mr. Maxson will be a panelist at ELSA’s Spring 2015 Symposium in London on April 24, addressing the Institutionalization of the Life Settlement Market.
