Culhane Meadows is sponsoring the Austin Bar Association’s second Equity Summit at the Equity Ally level. The virtual event is on Friday, June 10.The virtual event is on Friday, June 10, and is free for Austin Bar Members, $50 for non members, and members will get five (5) ethics CLE credits.

Culhane Meadows is proud to be an Ally sponsor of the Austin Bar Association’s second Equity Summit. This year’s focus is on gender equity and will include a keynote address by Gloria Feldt, the author of the groundbreaking book Sex, Power, Pandemics, and How Women Will Take the Lead for (Everyone’s) Good.  Panels include: Parental Leave; Legal Update: A Discussion of Recent Developments Relating to Abortion, Transgender Rights, & Sexual Harassment; Manifestations of Gender Inequity; Inclusive Drafting and Lawyering; and Women-Owned Law Firms (our own Mishell Kneeland will serve as a panelist). The event is virtual and open to all and is free to Austin Bar members. For those in town, a Happy Hour at the Bar’s Hilgers House will follow.
