Culhane Meadows names Jennifer Rodriguez as National Chair of Labor & Employment Practice Group

rodriguezCulhane Meadows PLLC, one of the nation’s largest non-traditional law firms, has tapped Jennifer Rodriguez to serve as Labor & Employment Group Practice Chair, leading the firm’s fast-growing team comprised exclusively of senior, partner-level attorneys.

Ms. Rodriguez focuses her practice on guiding clients through all facets of labor and employment matters, including implementation of proactive operating procedures, management of all aspects of the employment relationship, development of “best practices” training programs (including  presentations to all levels of staff), facilitation of government investigations, and assistance with corporate reorganization plans.

“Jennifer is the ideal candidate to lead our labor & employment lawyers as we head into the next phase of our growth” said co-founder and co-managing partner Kelly Rittenberry Culhane. “Her commitment to client service, innovative thinking and a team-based approach to lawyering fit perfectly with our vision for how our partners can work together, and her combination of in-house and private practice experience made her a natural choice for this leadership role.”

Prior to joining Culhane Meadows in early 2014, Ms. Rodriguez served as General Counsel for The LaSalle Group, Inc., and Constant Care Management Company. She began her legal career with Bracewell & Guiliani, LLP (formerly Bracewell & Patterson, LLP), based in their Dallas office, and has also held in-house positions at Turtle Wax, Michael’s Stores and Zale Corporation.

“One of Jennifer’s most impressive skills is the ability to communicate effectively with corporate legal departments. She has been in their shoes and has first-hand appreciation for the importance of superb and responsive legal service balanced with efficiency,” adds Grant Walsh, another co-founding partner.

Ms. Rodriguez earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  She is licensed in both Texas and Illinois and splits her time between Dallas and Chicago.
