Mr. Sheldon brings over 30 years of experience in technology related legal matters. Prior to joining Culhane Meadows, he was a partner in the technology section of FisherBroyles, and before that he spent nine years as Counsel at the law firm of Alston & Bird where his practice centered on high technology commercial transactions, including software licensing agreements, complex technology integration agreements, software development and distribution agreements, wireless telecommunications agreements and related corporate legal matters. He advises clients on domestic and international technology matters, including development of processes for establishing international product distribution channels. Mr. Sheldon also acted as a lead outside counsel for a Fortune 100 corporation with respect to various licensing and distribution matters.

Mr. Sheldon has been selected by Best Lawyers Magazine as a Georgia Best Lawyer for Technology Law for the years 2015 through 2020.

Mr. Sheldon has extensive experience in the technology industry, having served as Associate General Counsel for Harbinger Corporation, Corporate Counsel for The Network Connection, and as Legal Counsel for LXE, Inc.  In those positions, Mr. Sheldon worked closely with the research and development, sales and distribution departments in drafting and negotiating complex intellectual property transfer and licensing agreements.  Prior to attending law school, he gained valuable technology industry experience as a computer programmer.
