Mr. Roth focuses his law practice on real estate transactions, zoning and land use, and related business transactions.

Eli has more than a decade of experience representing private and governmental entities related to the sale & purchase, development, and leasing of property, including contract negotiations, drafting restrictive covenants, shared off-site facilities, condominium formation, permitting, zoning, site plans, and subdivisions.

In particular, he represents private and governmental clients in the sale, purchase, development, and leasing of real estate. This representation includes negotiation of contracts, due diligence, permitting, zoning, title issues and resolution, subdivision and condominium formation, restrictive covenants, easements, and closely-held entity formations and structuring.

 

Representative Experience:

  • Ongoing representation of real estate developer in the purchase, development, and leasing of restaurants and retail throughout the Austin, Kyle, and San Marcos areas, as tenant, landlord, and landlord-operator.  Each project consists of approximately 10,000 – 25,000 square feet of area in approximately 5-10 ongoing different projects at any given time. Eli also assists in ongoing real estate operations.
  • Leasing of over 40,000 square feet of newly constructed commercial and mixed-use space in east Austin.
  • Ongoing representation of owner/operator businesses in connection with acquisition of real estate and leasing.
  • Ongoing representation of large school district in acquisition, development, and redevelopment of over 20 school sites, as well as acquisition of school district headquarters.
